Today after a delivery the app froze and the “delivered” button didn’t work. The first agent insisted I un/re-install then call back if it didn’t fix things. It didn’t, so I called again the next agent cancelled the order (which unfroze my app) and said I would get paid plus receive a $5 inconvenience fee. Great. Except uber kept the tip! I got $3.46 + $5 =$8.46 instead of the original $7.05 offer. I argued that I should get 7.05 + 5 = $12.05; otherwise I’m paying a big part of the inconvenience fee myself.
Is this right? Are agents unable to mark an order as delivered for you?
