Should I drive with one arm in a cast (left arm; post surgery) VIPLANE

Just had surgery in my left arm ( Thumb/Ucl). Doctor said I'll be in a cast for 2 weeks at least.

I cant really afford to be at home for two weeks tho. ( I'm in a home buying process and need every nickel) Has any one here ever driven with one arm disabled?

Will passengers react negativley to that?
