I don’t recall the source or the exact number but my recollection was that you’ll get about 10-15% lower mileage with E85 but at $1.85 that’s still a heck of a deal compared to gas. Here in NC gas is about $3.60 right now (side note: higher than when we had a fuel surcharge) which would mean that E85 under $3 is a good deal. Unfortunately I do not have a flex fuel capable vehicle at the moment.
